The New Dawn Manuels Gold property represents a highly prospective low-sulphidation, epithermal gold asset consisting of three contiguous mineral licences (one license block), namely 025177M, 023601M, and 027292M which comprise a total of 21 claims.
The Manuels Gold property is located along major gold trend and exhibits the potential to host a low sulfidation epithermal gold system.
It is conveniently location 3 kilometres south of the community of Conception Bay South, strategically located on the north and east side of the open pit Trinity Resources Ltd. pyrophyllite mine, and easily accessible by gravel road.
The geology exhibits features typical of a shallowly eroded, volcanic hosted, low-sulphidation epithermal Au-Ag mineral system.
Nearby prospects, with the same geological trend running through the Manuels Gold property, include:
The Manuels Gold property lies within the prolific Avalon Zone, renowned for its significant occurrences of epithermal gold mineralization.
The mineral belt spanning approximately 100 kilometers, trending north-south, serves as a host to both low- and high-grade gold mineralization, predominantly occurring within felsic volcanic.
Notably, the most favorable gold grades are encountered within quartz-adularia veins exhibiting varying degrees of hematite alteration. Alteration patterns range from intense to mild, with the more intense zones characterized by silica-sericite-hematite assemblages. Presently, there is no discernible spatial relationship between alteration zones and areas of high-grade gold mineralization.
Among the notable occurrences within the area, the Steep Nap stands out as an excellent example of epithermal mineralization. This vein is several meters in width and has yielded gold values reaching up to 54.3 grams per tonne (g/t) Au. Additionally, elevated silver concentrations in soil have been observed over certain sections of the Manuels Gold property, further highlighting its mineral potential.
Triple One Metals Inc. (formerly MLK Gold), acquired a 100% interest in the prospective Manuels Gold property in 2020 and completed a drilling program.
The 2020-2021 Phase 1 exploration included prospecting, geochemistry and diamond drilling on the structural vein corridor east of the Farmer's Fields occurrence. The exploration entailed soil sampling and a six-hole diamond drilling program on the low sulphidation, epithermal Manuels gold property.
Objectives:
Soil sampling on the property returned silver values up to 12.2 g/t Ag over a significant area, but gold values did not correspond with anomalous silver. The drill program was focused on depth continuity of two low-grade gold occurrences hosted in deep red coloured silicified rhyolite. Drilling efforts to intersect deeper mineralization under both the Boxcar and the Farmers Field occurrences resulted in drilling difficulties from block-faulting so it was determined to focus in a new area after a total of 594 meters was drilled.
In 2023, Triple One Metals Inc. redirected its focus towards its Lithium Project in southwestern Newfoundland, located approximately 15 kilometres southeast of the Kraken Lithium and Hydra Ceasium discoveries in the same region. Thus, on April 18, 2023, Triple One Metals Inc. reverted the Manuels Gold property to the original owner, New Dawn, under the leadership of President and CEO, Kevin P. Ryan (Owner of Hyperion Minerals).
A network of prominent linear structures, oriented in both north-south and northwest-southeast directions, traverse the property. By focusing on these structures next, the aim is to unlock further opportunities and uncover additional high-grade gold mineralization within the property.
To date, close to $500,000 has been spent on the Manuels Gold property and the property is good standing, with two of the three mineral licenses (023601M and 027292M) in good standing until 2031.
This unique and prospective property is available for sale, option or joint venture. Please contact Kevin P. Ryan at kpryan999@gmail.com or 709-764-4997, if you are interested in discussing the property and partnership opportunities.
